What Is The Hunt?
The Hunt is an immersive mystery adventure that combines storytelling, puzzle-solving, and exploration. Participants will make their way around Union City to investigate the disappearance of Eliza Hartwell. Gather clues, examine evidence, interview characters, and connect the pieces of a century-old cold case. Every discovery brings you closer to uncovering the truth and solving the mystery. And, if you are the first one figure it out, you could walk away with $500 cash
Who Can Play?
The Hunt is open to anyone who enjoys mysteries, puzzles, and interactive adventures. Individuals, families, friends, and teams are welcome to participate. Whether you’re an experienced problem solver or simply looking for a unique Heritage Days experience, you’ll have the opportunity to follow clues, and compete to solve the mystery first. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult throughout the event.

Reserve your spot by registering through the links on this page before the event. Participation is free, with an optional VIP registration available. No registrations will be allowed the day of the event.

Explore & Solve
Beginning at the Union City Public Library, you’ll receive your case file and investigation materials. Follow clues, examine evidence, visit locations, and uncover new information as you work to solve the mystery.

Submit & Win
Once you’ve determined what happened to Eliza Hartwell, head to the final location and follow the last clue to submit your solution. The first participant to correctly solve the case wins the grand prize.
