The Randy Players proudly present the classic melodrama, The Miner’s Daughter or Evil Reeks Its Just Rewards, during this year’s State Line Heritage Days. This lighthearted tale of good vs. evil takes place under the big tent, with railroad tracks setting the scene for small-town theatrics with big-time heart.

In this story by Shubert Fendrich, villain Jackpot Slade schemes to take over Barney McDougle’s gold mine by poisoning the owner. But in a twist of fate, a temperance worker accidentally drinks the tainted beverage! Sheriff Harold Strongheart is summoned to crack the case, and with the help of Clementine McDougle—Barney’s courageous daughter—the villain is dramatically brought to justice.

The all-star cast includes Dennis Pratt, Bruce Davison, Joe Wyant, Pam Pratt, Ruth Schweigert, and Linda Puccini, with musical accompaniment by Diane Chase. Directed by Linda Puccini.
